He is survived by: his parents, Barbara Root and Frederick Root; and his fiancée Maggie Cunningham.

Visitation will be held on Monday, June 9th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Richard H Keenan Funeral Home (7501 Pittsford Palmyra Rd, Fairport, NY 14450). A funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, June 10th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Church of Assumption.
