He was predeceased by: his parents, Emil and Esther; his son Richard; and his siblings, May, Ebba, Elenore, Esther and Walter.
He is survived by: his wife Susanne; his son Herb Jr. (Cheryl); his brother-in-law Joseph Grimes of Oklahoma; and his nephew Ed Lucas of Arizona. He is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and many wonderful friends.
