He was predeceased by : his parents, Clifford Sargent and Marion Sargent; his siblings, Loraine Cormia Cordaro and Charles; his brother-in-law Louis Shaffer; and his niece Maureen Femiano.

He is survived by : his siblings, Sandra Burke, Barbara Kristan (Joe), Thomas Sargent (Linda), Marilyn Shaffer and Maureen Hann (Dennis); his sister-in-law Barbara Jean Sargent; and also McClain.
