He was predeceased by: his parents, John Sopak and Bertha Harrington Sopak; his wife Sandra Keith Sopak; and his siblings, Bob Sopak and Trudy Blodgett.
He is survived by: his children, Jeffrey J. (Karen L. Sopak), Julie A. Conti of North Carolina and Joel Sopak of Falconer; his grandchildren, Kate Harlow (Josh), Zack Sopak, Jake Sopak, Maddie Conti and Luke Sopak; his great grandchild Nora Wilson; and his sister Kay Peterson.
