We bid farewell to Jon A. Saff of Falconer, New York, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on October 16, 2025 at the age of 87. Jon touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Jon leaves behind and his impact on the lives of his loved ones. Though Jon may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the memories held dear by his family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur O. Saff and Doris M. Johnson Saff; and his sister Sally Neathery. He is survived by: his wife Sally Matteson Saff; his sons, Scott Saff (Cathryn) of Raleigh, NC and Kevin Saff (Lisa) of Jamestown; and his grandchildren, Andrew Saff (Sarah) of Charlotte, NC, Kayla Orbaker (Colton) of Ashville, NY, Michael Saff (Tami) of Brewster, NY and Katie Toor (Cody) of Gainesville, NY. He is also survived by five great-grandchildren.
