We are sad to announce that, on May 21, 2026, at the age of 90, Joseph R. Zampogna of Falconer, New York passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his mother Gertrude Beardsley Snyder; his wife Virginia Zampogna; his children, Steven Zampogna and Katherine Zampogna; and his sisters, Amy Burgess, Lucy Olson and Rose Smith.
He is survived by: his daughters, Becky Hallberg (Dan) and Terry Knapp (Rex); his grandchildren, Samantha Whippo (Levi), Staci Hoyos (Martin), Jennifer Martinez (Luis), Jeremy Knapp (Tricia), Mike Zampogna and Matt Zampogna; his great grandchildren, Alina, Troy, Reese Whippo, Nella, Charlie Hoyos, Gabe, Tristan, Samuel Martinez, Mariah, Andrew, Abby Knapp, Matt Zampogna and Amara Olson; and his brother Richard Zampogna.
