He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth Jesse Everett and Dessie Rexford Everett Barnes; his wife Carol Joy Crandall Everett; his sister Juanita Tank; his son-in-law Terry Nelson; and his stepfather Orville Barnes.

He is survived by: his children, Connie Gustafson (George), Kenneth Everett (Brenda) and Chris Nelson; his grandchildren, Kim LaRoy (Keith), Jackie Parshall (Ronald), Kendra Preston (Steph), Rex Everett (Jessie), CJ Everett, Lydia Derginer (Josh) and Clint Sikes; his great grandchildren, Makayla LaRoy, Mariah LaRoy, Ronald Parshall III and Foster Everett; his great great grandchild Ryker LaRoy; and his siblings, Linda Lazarony (Donald) and Gary Barnes.
