He was predeceased by: his parents, David E. Brainard and Janette Donaldson Brainard Timm. He is survived by: his wife Mary Morrison Brainard; his children, Cherie Rowland (Keith) and David Brainard (Holly); his grandchildren, Meaghan Dykstra (Andrew), Andrew Irwin, Anyssa Brainard (Chris Bollman), Mekenzie Rowland, Channing Brainard and Myla Brainard; and his great grandchildren, Braelynn Dykstra and Ary Irwin.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Grandview (1116 W Hill Rd, Gerry, NY 14740).
