He was predeceased by : his wife Carol. He is survived by : his daughters, Meghan Emerson (Allen), Tara Yacavone (Scott) and Theresa Scovell (Tom). He is also survived by four grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Sunday, April 21st 2024 from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Denis'. O'Connor Inc. (91-05 Beach Channel Dr, Rockaway, NY 11693). A wake was held on Sunday, April 21st 2024 at the Denis'. O'Connor Funeral Home (91-05 Beach Channel Dr, Rockaway, NY 11693). A funeral Mass was held on Monday, April 22nd 2024 at 9:30 AM at the St. Thomas More Church (204-25 Rockaway Point Blvd, Breezy Point, NY 11697).

In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Blessed Trinity Parish on behalf of their Campaign for the Point.
