She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Brassil and Alice Brassil; her son John Michael; and her son-in-law James Koenig. She is survived by: her husband John (Probeyahn); her daughters, Carol, Susan (Joseph), Laura (Fred) and Janet (Rob); her grandchildren, Nicholas Sansone (Celestine), Danielle Cirisano (Anthony), Emily Mosely (Cary), John Sansone (Ally), Thomas Sansone, Delaney Lenaghan, Olivia Koenig and Brian Lenaghan; her great grandchildren, Sophia and Anthony Cirisano; and her siblings, Thomas (Christine) and Carol (McGowan).
In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Barbara's name to the Frank G. Zarb School of Business Scholarship Fund at Hofstra University.
