He was predeceased by: his wife Therese; and his parents, William Ahern and Helen Ahern of Bethpage. He is survived by: his child Jerry Ahern, Jr.; his sister Mary K. Looney of Farmingdale; his sister-in-law Joan Ahern of Huntington; and his caring aides, Brigitte McFarlane and Jannese Martin. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 5th 2025 from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM, on Friday, June 6th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the McCourt & Trudden Funeral Home Inc. (385 Main St, Farmingdale, NY 11735). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 7th 2025 at 9:30 AM at the St Kilian RC Church (485 Conklin St, Farmingdale, NY 11735).
