He was loved and cherished by many people including : his wife Maria Abate; his sons, Nicholas and James; his parents, Fred Emde and Elke Emde; his parents-in-law, Frank and MaryAnn Abate; and his siblings, Ralph, Stephanie Romanelli (Gerry) and Peter (Caryn).
