He was predeceased by: his parents, Heinrich Hapke and Herta Hapke; his son John Hapke; and his granddaughter Julianne McDermott. He is survived by: his wife Doris; his children, Jeffrey, Kenneth (Judy), Ric (Lynn) and Larry Hapke (Carol); his grandchildren, Tara (Dylan), Laura (Nick), Leah, Austin, Jessica, Rea and Tina; and his great grandchildren, James, Joel, Jayden, Kiera, Nova, Ayden, Lincoln, Justina, Richie, Jason, Ali, Avery and Tony. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
