With sadness, we share the passing of Damon D. Panels of Fayetteville, New York. Damon, born on October 7, 1941, passed away on September 22, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Family, friends, and acquaintances remember Damon for his warmth, thoughtfulness, and the moments shared together. While he will be deeply missed, the influence he had on the lives around him remains. Loved ones will reflect on the time spent together. Damon’s memory will live on in the hearts of friends and family, a lasting reminder of the connections and experiences he brought to the world.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Daniel Panels and Effie Panels; and his brother Robert Panels. He is survived by: his siblings, Peter Panels (Floria) and Lisa Butler (Frank); and his sister-in-law Patricia Panels. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 29th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Eaton-Tubbs Fayetteville Chapel (7191 E Genesee St, Fayetteville, NY 13066). A prayer was held on Tuesday, September 29th 2026 at 5:30 PM at the same location. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, September 30th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the St. Sophia Greek Orthodox Church (325 Waring Rd, Syracuse, NY 13224).
