He was predeceased by: his parents, Vernon Kessler and Myrtle Kessler; his wife Barbara (Birdseye); his son Richard; and his siblings, Rae and Glen.
He is survived by: his children, David Kessler (Barbara) of Eufaula, AL and Cynthia Warner (Jeffrey) of Marietta, NY; his grandchildren, Daniel, Charlene Deakyne (Gene), Lindsay Stanton (Allen), David, James (Alli), Joshua Warner (Kristin), Savonnah Zayas (John) and Kathleen Warner (Javier); his great grandchildren, Luke, Emily, Ava Deakyne, Hanna, Samuel, Andrew, Leah Stanton, Finn Kessler, Caiden, Isabella, Mateo Zayas, Logan and Layla Warner; and his nieces, Ruth Malowicki (Zig) and Ann Etter.
