He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Garvin Steele and Matilda Steele (Jenkins); his children, Robert "Andy" Steele of Barton, Maryland, Anthony Steele of Lonaconing, Maryland, Steven Steele (Anna) of Scottsville and Mary Japson (Jim) of Victor; his grandchildren, Samuel, Isabella and Abigail; his siblings, Garvin Steele Jr. of Glen Burnie, Maryland, Sonja K. Thompson of Millerville and Pamela Luellen of Lonaconing, Maryland; his wife Susan Kyle; and his brother James Steele. He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Bruce Funeral Home (131 Maple St, Black River, NY 13612). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
