In the vast expanse of eternity, Gerald shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Gerald farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Peter McGlynn and Monica Doyle McGlynn; his wife Carole Jean Lowrey; and his children, Michael McGlynn (Dodi) of Battle Creek, MI, Colleen Marcum (Tim) of Hedgesville, WV and Lisa Bower (Darel) of Fillmore. He was also cherished by 10 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, six great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, May 23rd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Saturday, May 24th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM. A funeral service was held on Saturday, May 24th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the Norther Konxion United Methodist Church - Fillmore (23 Minard St, Fillmore, NY 14735).
