He was predeceased by: his parents, Benedict A. and Joan Boettcher (Hopf). He is survived by: his siblings, Steve Boettcher (Bonnie) of Fishkill, Gregory Boettcher of Hopewell Junction, Pam Allgauer of Poughkeepsie and Laura Boettcher of Beacon; and his nieces and nephews, Erika Allgauer, Evan Allgauer, Shelby Boettcher and Tyler Boettcher.
