He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Ferrara and Carmela Ferrara (DeMarsico); his siblings, Charles (Irene Ferrara), Anthony (Mae Ferrara), Felicia (Louis Tarantelli) and Joseph (Marie Ferrara); and his son-in-law Edmund Kardas.
He is survived by: his wife Rita M. Bonacio; his children, Rene Kardas of Hopewell Junction and Stephen Ferrara (Kelly) of Wallkill; his grandchildren, Tyler Kardas (Erin), Benjamin Ferrara and Sarah Mardis (Samuel); and his brother Paul Ferrara (Cathy). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and other loving relatives and friends.
