Carol Ann Burnette Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carol Ann Burnette of Fishkill, New York, who passed away on July 24, 2025, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Carol Ann Burnette to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John C. Dmytryszyn and Doris M. Dmytryszyn (Heinz); her grandparents, Margaret, Conrad Heinz, Mary and Joseph Dmytryszyn; and her godparents, Margaret Baker Mitchell and Benton Mitchell.
She is survived by: her children, Melissa A. Mercay (Damon) of Pleasant Valley, NY, Keith M. Cerone (Theresa) of Hopewell Junction, NY and Joseph W. Cerone of Fishkill, NY; her grandchildren, Brionna Mercay, Damon Mercay, Jr., Sierra Mercay, Aubrey Cerone, Braelynn Cerone, Chloe Cerone, Adrionna Cerone and Joseph Cerone; her stepchildren, Dawn Zambrana, Robert Burnette and Joy Burnette; her stepgrandchildren, Marisol Torres, Cabrina Burnette, Alana Burnette, Ariyanna Zambrana, Jonathan Burnette, Dyami Coy Massey and Anthony Zambrana; her brother John T. Dmytryszyn (Theresa) of Newburgh, NY; her goddaughters, Doris Marie Dmytryszyn-Anderson and Kirsten Mitchell; and her friends, Donna and Frank Andrade. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and countless other loving relatives & friends.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 30th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the McHoul Funeral Home of Fishkill (1089 Main St, Fishkill, NY 12524). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Thursday, July 31st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Mother of the Church (106 Jackson St, Fishkill, NY 12524). An entombment will be held on Thursday, July 31st 2025 at 11:15 AM at the Fishkill Rural Cemetery (801 US-9, Fishkill, NY 12524).
