He was predeceased by: his parents, John and Mary Hodgart, Jr. (Paul); his wife Jean (Tibbs); and his brother John Hodgart III. He is survived by: his daughters, Sharon Smith (Douglas) of Cary, NC and Kimberly Spielberg (David) of Cortlandt Manor, NY; his grandchildren, Brittany Barker, Kevin Barker, Monica Mitarotando, Alexander Smith, Gavin Spielberg and Shane Spielberg; his great grandchildren, Kora and John; and his pet Comfort.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 20th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the McHoul Funeral Home of Fishkill (1089 Main St, Fishkill, NY 12524). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 21st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, June 21st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Fishkill Rural Cemetery (801 US-9, Fishkill, NY 12524).
