He is survived by: his sons, Michael Kandeel of Hopewell Junction and Ryan Kandeel of Beacon; and his siblings, Ashraf Kandeel (Jessica) of Pine Bush, Salwa Kandeel of Egypt, Randa Kandeel and Safa Kandeel.
