James J. Vitale Obituary

He was predeceased by: his parents, Constance M. Vitale and Salvatore J. Vitale; and his brother Samuel J. Vitale. He is survived by: his siblings, Brenda M. Melendez and Edward J. Vitale; his nephews, Raphael Melendez, Alex Melendez, Edward Vitale, Stephen Vitale and Benjamin Vitale; and his niece Miya Vitale.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 13th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the McHoul Funeral Home of Fishkill (1089 Main St, Fishkill, NY 12524). A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, October 13th 2026 at 7:30 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Wednesday, October 14th 2026 at 11:30 AM at the Kensico Cemetery (273 Lakeview Ave, Valhalla, NY 10595).

He showed his love for animals by making regular donations to the SPCA.
