He was predeceased by: his parents, John Nolan and Margaret Nolan; his son John Nolan III; and his son-in-law Jerry Smallin. He is survived by: his wife Mary; his children, Anne Winberg (Steven) of Alexandria, VA, Margaret Smallin of Wappingers Falls, NY, Stephen Nolan (Diane) of Marlboro, NJ and Michael Nolan (Maria) of Gaithersburg, MD; his daughter-in-law Andrea Kent of Southampton, NY; and his grandchildren, Michael, Lindsay, Paige, Sean Nolan, Rebecca and Christopher Burns. He is also survived by two great grandsons, and one great granddaughter.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hudson Valley Hospice or Catholic Charities.
