In the sacred silence of farewell, Joseph is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph F. Carvalhido and Angelina Carvalhido (DiPippa). He is survived by: his sons, Joseph Carvalhido (Brittany) of Baton Rouge, LA and John Carvalhido (Marie) of Breezy Point; his grandchildren, Dane, Ian, Penelope and John; and his brother Michael Carvalhido (Linda). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Visitation will be held on Monday, November 3rd 2025 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Marine Park Funeral Home, Inc. (3024 Quentin Rd, Brooklyn, NY 11234). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Tuesday, November 4th 2025 at 9:30 AM at the St. Thomas More Church (204-25 Rockaway Point Blvd, Breezy Point, NY 11697).
