She was predeceased by: her parents, Pete Slater and Celia Slater; her husband Sam Lee; her son Herbert Lee; her siblings, Mattie Moffat, Jonnie Slater, Stephen "Bubba" Slater, Agnes Williams, Sarah Hilton and Mary Saab; her sister-in-law Catherine Owens; and her daughters-in-law, Midge Lee and Lisa Lee.
She is survived by: her children, Retha Smith, Ernest Lee (Barbara), Robert Lee (Kathy) and Samuel Lee, Jr.. She is also survived by her 17 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; 41 great-great grandchildren; and 4 great-great-great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 30th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the McHoul Funeral Home, Inc. - Chapel (895 NY-82, Hopewell Junction, NY 12533). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Tuesday, July 1st 2025 at 12:15 PM at the Fishkill Rural Cemetery (801 US-9, Fishkill, NY 12524).
