She was predeceased by: her parents, John Malloy and Genevieve Malloy; and her siblings, Michael Malloy and Kathy Brownell. She is survived by: her significant other Mark Barry; her sons, Michael James Byrnes and Garrett Byrnes (Melina Macfarlane); her sisters, Diane Roberts (Dennis) and Judy Cahill (Mike Hartney); her stepdaughters, Meghan Lumia (Dave), Caitlin Barry (Bill Carr), Colleen Barry and Shannon Hanlon (Andrew); her stepgrandsons, Landon and Lincoln Lumia; her brother-in-law Chip Brownell; and her nieces and nephews, Ben Brownell, Josh Roberts (Kristen), Tim Roberts, Christen Battaglia (Bob Kalchthaler), Sarah Roberts (John Kellogg), Lara Malloy and Caitlin Malloy. She is also survived by her many grandnephews and grandnieces; and countless dear friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the McHoul Funeral Home of Fishkill (1089 Main St, Fishkill, NY 12524). A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the St. Mary's Church (106 Jackson St, Fishkill, NY 12524).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to the American Stroke Association or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Patty's memory.
