He was predeceased by: his father Dr. James D. Burns. He is survived by: his mother Alberta Burns (Knolls); his wife Patti (Lyman); his children, Timothy "T. J." Burns II (Sara), Alyson Barus (Daniel) and Andrew Burns (Jessica); his grandchildren, Hadley, Connor, Nathan, James and Samuel; his brothers, Michael Burns (Karen) and Matthew Burns (Deanna); his mother-in-law Eileen Lyman; and his siblings-in-law, Theresa Lyman, Jacquelyn Guion (Jeff), John Lyman (Alice) and Thomas Lyman (Katie). He is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 20th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the McHoul Funeral Home of Fishkill (1089 Main St, Fishkill, NY 12524). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday, July 21st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Mother of the Church (106 Jackson St, Fishkill, NY 12524). A burial will be held on Monday, July 21st 2025 at 11:15 AM at the Fishkill Rural Cemetery (801 US-9, Fishkill, NY 12524).
