He was predeceased by: his parents, Albertus Brybag and Leopaulina Nijhbroek Brybag; his wife Elfriede Brybag; his daughter Anneke Vignapiano; and his siblings, Albert, Franz, Rudolph, Ben, Ewald, August and Willie.
He is survived by: his children, William (Erika Templehoff), Errol (Stephanie), Joseph (Samantha), Rieke (Arnold Guercio), Lillian (Lesley Postma), Ilse (Randy Ciprich) and Patricia (Frank McCann). He is also survived by 25 grandchildren, and 26 great grandchildren.
