He was predeceased by: his parents, Anna Samartano and Salvatore Samartano. He is survived by: his wife Grace (Cascio); and his children, Marie Hill, Thomas, Theresa Jordon (Bill) and Peter. He is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren.
