He made time for me one summer to reach out, on his own time, when I struggled with one of his classes to give me a pep talk and encourage me to continue pursuing what he knew I was capable of. He was a dear, dear friend and he will be sorely missed. I wish I had made more time to just sit down and talk with him.”
