He was predeceased by: his parents, Vincent Janiak and Christine Janiak; and his aunt Janet Smykla. He is survived by: his siblings, Debbie Janiak Blaikner of Phenix City, Alabama, Bonnie Janiak Tomaselli of Pine Island, Paul Janiak of Jupiter, Florida and Todd Janiak of Cadillac, Michigan.; and his pet Daisy.

Visitation will be held on Monday, October 26th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the T. S. Purta Funeral Home (22 Glenmere Ave, Florida, NY 10921). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 26th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
