He is survived by: his wife Suzanne Bolton Best; his daughters, Mary Kathryn Breen (Peter) and Meredith Best (Babette Loucks); his daughter-in-law Lisa Best; his grandchildren, Elisabeth Krauze, Tyler Best, Alyson Best, Sean W. Robert Breen, Dele Loucks-Best and Aubrey Loucks-Best; and his great grandchildren, Ruby and Penelope Best.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 16th 2026 at the Church of the Holy Spirit (151 S Main St, Gloversville, NY 12078).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Historical Society of the New York Courts.
