He was predeceased by: his wife Joan Balsamo. He is survived by: his children, Vincent Balsamo, Ronald Balsamo (Maryann), Janie Corbo (Louis) and Charles Contini (Marianne); his grandchildren, Charles Contini (Kim), Robert Contini (Rachel), Jessica Clemente (Chris), Victoria Lynch (Kevin), Alexandra Ward (Jimmy) and Kristen Picone (Jonathan); his great grandchildren, Emelie, Annabelle, Crew, Jamie, Collins, Christian, Aidan, Paige, Jesse and Drew; his brother Jack Balsamo (Dolores); and his brothers-in-law, Ronald Annunziata (Lynda) and Guy Annunziata. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, August 28th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Colonial Funeral Home (2819 Hylan Blvd, Staten Island, NY 10306). A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, August 29th 2026 at 10:15 AM at the St. Charles R. C. Church (200 Penn Ave, Staten Island, NY 10306).
