He was predeceased by : his sister Maria. He is survived by : his spouse Irini; his children, Mark Karavas (Angela) and Regina Georgopoulos (Jimmy); his grandchildren, Aris and Yianni; and his siblings, Zoe, Gerasimos, Julia and Angeliki. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
