With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Barbara Ann Penko of Flushing, New York, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 26, 2025 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Charles Vincent Penko; her son Charles V. Penko Jr.; her parents, Anton Mahler and Mary Ellen Farrell; and her siblings, William, Joseph, Thomas, Jean Marie and Mary Ellen.

She is survived by: her children, Jean Marie Tierney (Todd Tierney), Raymond Anthony and Barbara Ann Moffatt (William Moffatt); her grandchildren, Charlie, Breanna and Shawn; and her sister-in-law Diana Konopka. She is also survived by her 15 nieces and nephews.
