Caridad Iglesia Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Caridad Iglesia (Flushing, New York), who passed away on March 31, 2024, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Emeteria Lorenzo and Ramon Lorenzo; and her brother Monching. She is survived by : her husband Franco Iglesia of Fresh Meadows; her daughters, Jeanette Healy of Fresh Meadows, NY and Melanie Iglesia of Cape Coral; her grandchildren, Dyllan, Candice Healy, Donovan and Melissa; and her great grandchildren, Ariel Healy, Leon Healy, Angeline Healy, Aiden Chan and Eva Chan. She is also survived by in-laws, nieces, and nephews.

Whether it was offering a listening ear to a friend in need or organizing a fundraiser for a local charity, she always went above and beyond to make a positive impact on the lives of those around her.
