He is survived by: his wife Antonia; his children, Susan Jovic (John) and John Picinic (Aina); his grandchildren, Jason Jovic (Carly), Emma Picinic and Jake Picinic; his great grandchild Hallie Jovic; his brother Luka Picinic (Matea); and his sister-in-law Nicolina Papic (Ivica).
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 2nd 2026 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Frederick Funeral Home (192-15 Northern Blvd, Flushing, NY 11358). A funeral Mass was held on Thursday, September 3rd 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church (215-35 38th Ave, Bayside, NY 11361). A committal service was held on Thursday, September 3rd 2026 at 11:30 AM at the Mount St. Mary Cemetery (172-00 Booth Memorial Ave, Flushing, NY 11365).
