He was predeceased by: his parents, Martin E. O'Malley and Catherine O'Malley (Fitzpatrick); and his daughter Ellen O'Malley. He is survived by: his wife Judy; his former wife Judith A. Goeller; his son Stephen O'Malley (Susan) of South Salem, NY; and his granddaughters, Brianna, Amanda O'Malley and Melissa Hartlipp. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews and many friends.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association, P.O. Box 7023, Merrifield, VA 22116 or Lions Clubs International Foundation, Dept. 4547, Carol Stream, IL 60422 in memory of past President, James M. O'Malley.
