She was predeceased by: her parents, Franseska Vastardis and Demetrios Vastardis. She is survived by: her spouse Constantinos Gounaris; her sons, Demetrios, Michael and Andreas; her daughter-in-law Anastasia (Demetrios); and her grandchildren, Constantine and Alexandra.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 12th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Frederick Funeral Home (192-15 Northern Blvd, Flushing, NY 11358). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 13th 2026 at 9:30 AM at the Holy Cross Greek Orthodox Church (11-05 150th St, Whitestone, NY 11357).
In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to Ronald McDonald House Greek Division (http://www.rmh-newyork.org.) or American Friends of the Blind in Greece (http://www.friendsoftheblind.org.) .
