He was predeceased by: his wife Anna Hagicostas; and his brothers, Nicholas, Lambros and Jack Hagicostas. He is survived by: his children, Margaret Zanone and Paul Hagicostas; his grandson Michael Zinone; and his sister Stella Vageanos (Sophia Tsavaris).
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Frederick Funeral Home (192-15 Northern Blvd, Flushing, NY 11358). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 at 9:00 AM at the St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Shrine Church (196-10 Northern Blvd, Flushing, NY 11358). A committal service will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 at 10:30 AM at the St. Michael's Cemetery (72-02 Astoria Blvd S, East Elmhurst, NY 11370).
