It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Philip P. Capurso (Flushing, New York), who passed away, on February 4, 2021. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He is survived by: his wife Susanne; and his children, Richard, Stephen and Elisa. He is also survived by spouses and 6 grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers for those so inclined, donations can be made in Phil's name to one of his favorite charities namely, Stephen Siller Tunnel to Towers Foundation (Tunnel to Towers Foundation) tunnel2towers.org. Phil held Tunnel to Towers Foundation in such high esteem because both his sons were in lower Manhattan on 9/11 and he was always grateful to the First Responders who ran in so his sons could get out safely.

I had met Mr. and Mrs. Capurso a few times at their house in Queens and at weddings, etc... As an outsider to New York city from upstate, the Capurso family had always welcomed myself and my wife with open arms, with great home cooking, and great times spent together. You guys are the best, and we are sorry for your loss,. Best Tom and Missy.”
