He was predeceased by: his parents, Wesley Frye and Dorkis Muddle Frye; his siblings, Paul, Helen and Sally; and his son-in-law Richard Westfall.
He is survived by: his wife Lynne H. Weil Frye; his children, Debra Westfall of Fonda, James J. Frye, II (Joanne) of Caroga Lake and Darren Frye of New York City; his siblings, Wesley Frye (Effie) of Fonda, Douglas Frye (Linda) of Northville, Phillip Frye (Roseann) of Johnstown, William Frye (Debbie) of Gloversville, David Frye of Gloversville, Rick Frye (Diane) of Gloversville, Michael Frye of Gloversville, Jeffrey Frye of Gloversville and Kathy Dolder (Frank) of Gloversville; his grandchildren, Amanda Brownell (Alex) and Matthew Westfall; and his great grandchildren, Carson, Asher and Myles. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association or American Kidney Foundation, both in care of the funeral home.
