He was predeceased by : his parents, Julius Yoder and Barbara Yoder (Rudisill); his brother John (Hannelore); and his son Kenneth. He is survived by : his children, Linda Bauer (Mike), James F. and Jennifer Rigby (Shawn); his nephew Michael Yoder; his grandchildren, R. J. Krohn, Brandon Yoder (Catherine), James C. Yoder (Anne), Andrew Yoder (Emily), Skylar Rigby, Kylie Rigby and Kayci Rigby; and his wife Hannelore. He is also survived by friends with his wife.

Visitation was held on Sunday, April 28th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Cedar Memorial. A celebration of life was held on Monday, April 29th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the St. Patrick's Church (120 5th St NW, Cedar Rapids, IA 52405).
