The passing of Dorrinne J. Lyon of Forestport, New York leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on June 10, 2025 at the age of 92. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Jowett and Miriam Goodell Jowett; her sons, Kenneth Lyon and Michael Timothy; her siblings, Clarence H. "Whitey" Jowett, Brian Geddes, Claudine Geddes and Lazetta "Zettie" Tallerino; her son-in-law James Mullen; her grandson Kolby Lyon; and her great grandchild Emma May Lyon.
She is survived by: her children, Robert "Bob" Lyon (Marie Sherboneau), Becky Lyon-Mullen and William "Chip" Lyon (Sherry); her daughter-in-law Sharon Lyon; her grandchildren, Christopher Lyon (Anne), Kenneth Jr. Lyon (Jenni), Seth Lyon (Paula), Dylan Lyon (Melissa), Montana Mullen and Taylor Lyon; her brothers, Donald Geddes (Patty) of Albany, NY and Carl Geddes of San Diego, CA.; and her friends, Roz and Emily. She is also survived by nine great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 15th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Trainor Funeral Home, Inc. (143 Schuyler St, Boonville, NY 13309). A memorial service will be held on Sunday, June 15th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
