It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Annis Norton of Fort Ann, New York, born in Glens Falls, New York, who passed away on November 15, 2025, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Annis departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Annis may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Annis leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Arnold Ward and Flora Ward (Phillips) of Fort Ann, NY; and her husband Edward Norton Sr.. She is survived by: her son Edward Norton Jr. (Cindy); her grandchildren, Mia and Edward John (EJ) of Oakton, VA.; and her siblings, Janet Merrigan of Lakeworth, FL and John Ward of Greenwich, NY. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
