With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of James Dinwiddie of Fort Ann, New York, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 18, 2026 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though James may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those James touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Martin Dinwiddie and Edna Dinwiddie; and his sisters, Ann and Donna. He is survived by: his wife Roberta; his children, Jim Dinwiddie (Melanie), Lori Winchell and Sue Gosselin (Mike); and his sisters, Georgia, Carolyn and Carrie. He is also survived by 8 Grandchildren, 8 Great Grandchildren, and 2 Great-Great Grandchildren.
