He was predeceased by: his parents, John "Elmer" Heath, and Violet Heath, Jr.; his siblings, Vernon Heath and Carolyn McCullen; his wives, Jean and Grace Mae Barringer Rescott; and his children, Russell (Jody) and Jody Severance (Lloyd).
He is survived by: his sister Sylvia; his daughter Tammy (Jody Hermance); and his close friends, Lee and Marilyn Thomas. He is also survived by five sons and one daughter along with a bevy of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Truthville Baptist Church (39 Co Rd 12, North Granville, NY 12854). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
