He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Mattison and Muriel Mattison (Knickman); his former wife Nancy Mattison (Shields); and his brother Glenn Mattison. He is survived by: his wife Eva Mattison (Donnelly); his children, Diana Berrigan (Dan) of Hudson Falls, Roger "Jake" Mattison Jr. (Nancy) of Fort Ann and Kevin Mattison (Karen) of Fort Ann; his stepdaughters, Marci Greene of Kansas and Amy Scarincio (Steve); his grandchildren, Samantha Mattison (Kurt), Tyler Mattison, Anthony Greene, Emily Scarincio (Nate), Haylee Scarincio (Brayden), Nathan Scarincio and Kristy Sesselman; his great grandchildren, Julia and Mia; his siblings, Bonny Golden (Bob) of Pennsylvania and Paul Mattison; and his cousins, Shane Mattison, Robby Mattison and Travis Mattison. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, extended family members, and many friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that memorial donations be made to the Alzheimer's Association in Roger's memory.
