She was predeceased by: her parents, Wayne H. Lester and Lois J. Lester (Childs); her husband Albert James Smith of Mary's Church; and her siblings, Herbert, Clarence, Leslie, Nellie and Robert.
She is survived by: her children, Lee (Donna Smith), Lynn (Roxanne Smith), Gary (Vonda Smith), Brian (Laurie Smith), Doreen Smith of Sebastain, Craig (Michelle Smith) and WashingtonShe; and her siblings, Wesley Lester of Malone, Lawrence Lester of Gabriels, Gail Lester of Phoenicia, Francis Lester of Fort Covington and Richard Lester of Constable. She is also survived by her many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
A Mass will be held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Mary's of the Fort Catholic Church (2549 Chateaugay St, Fort Covington, NY 12937).
